When purchasing from the Floors-2-Go website, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. Please take the time to read through them:
1. Dispatch Policy.
While every effort will be made to ensure that all items shown are in stock we offer no guarantee of availability and this electronic publication does not constitute an offer for sale.
Goods delivered normally arrive between 8am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. You are able to select your preferred delivery timescale in the shopping cart, when you purchase your choice of products. We will then call you to confirm that the timescale is possible, or to arrange an alternative date that is convenient to you. Please note that every effort will be made to meet the delivery times and dates required however no liability is accepted for any costs, expenses or damages arising from any delay.
You are strongly advised not to book tradesmen or services or make other arrangement to deal with the installation of the goods until those goods are in your possession. Any such arrangements are made at your own risk.
You or your representative will need to be available at the delivery address. In the event that you are not available to provide a signature on the pre-arranged date, then you may be charged for re-delivery. Due to insurance restrictions deliveries can only be made to the kerb-side nearest to the delivery address. Deliveries cannot be left outside in porches, garages or any other location. At this time, if you live above the ground floor (i.e. in a flat) we are unable to bring the goods inside the building.
Please ensure that you inspect the goods immediately upon delivery and satisfy yourself that the goods are delivered in perfect condition. If you detect any imperfections or damage please ensure you notify us immediately. Please see para 4 below. Whenever possible please photograph the damaged goods immediately and provide copies to us. Please note that no claim for damage can be entertained once the delivery driver has left the delivery address unless signed for as damaged on delivery.
Please note: We only deliver to United Kingdom and Northern Ireland addresses
2. Prices and Tax.
The price shown for the goods excludes VAT (which is chargeable at 20%) postage and packing unless specifically stated. The charges for postage and packing is shown when selecting your required timescale for delivery. The prices are shown in the Checkout before you are asked to confirm the order. The checkout price you pay will include VAT.
3. Cancellations and Returns
(Applicable for Internet Sales only). In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 you have the right to cancel your order for up to 7 days after the day upon which you receive the goods.
To cancel your order you must inform us either in writing, by fax (0121 359 4316 to the attention of F2G Direct) or by email:email@example.com. We will arrange with you for the goods to be collected from the delivery address, and will then refund the total amount paid for the goods, less the cost incurred by us for collection (this cost is the charge made to us by the delivery company and will depend on the size of your order). All goods must be re-packed as they were received. Refunds will be made to the payment card that was initially used to make the purchase, within 30 days of cancellation.
4. Damaged Faulty Goods
Damaged or faulty goods must be reported to us immediately (see para 1 above) preferably supported by photographic evidence, either by phone (0121 504 3739), fax (0121 359 4316 to the attention of F2G Direct) or email:firstname.lastname@example.org. We will then make further arrangements with you. Whenever possible we will provide replacement goods of the same description or if unavailable will discuss with you selecting an alternative product. In the event of no alternative product being suitable then a full refund will be given.
5. Product Guarantee
Any product guarantee will be affected and possibly void in the event of any of the following:
5.1. If you do not use a suitable damp proof membrane on ground floors, or
5.2. If you do not use the correct underlay, or
5.3 If you do not have the flooring fitted correctly, or
5.4 You fail to observe the manufacturer’s instructions or recommendations.
The colours of goods may vary slightly from that shown on the website due to limitations of browser software and monitors. It should be noted that natural products will vary in terms of shading.
All confidential information, including credit card details, are held securely and only transmitted in encrypted form. Customer details are not passed to third parties and are used only in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees), arising out of your use of this site.
9. Intellectual Property
You agree and acknowledge that all texts, graphics, photographs, copyright, trademarks and any other intellectual property, material or content available within this website are owned by and shall remain the property of Nixon & Hope Limited
The Contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties to the Contract submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
10. Consumer Rights
None of the above Terms and Conditions affect your statutory consumer rights.
11. Company information.
Floors-2-Go is the trading name of Nixon & Hope Limited which is a company incorporated in England and Wales and registered under company number 7736258. The registered office of the company is Nixon & Hope Limited Unit 5-6, Mucklow Hill Trading Estate 1, Mucklow Hill, Halesowen, West Midlands, B62 8DF.
12. Click and Collect
Our click & collect options are available on selected products only.
Where you use our Click and Collect option, your purchase will take place over the website and not in the store. At the point of ordering you will have an option to choose your nearest store by clicking “select store” option in “Delivery Options” page in this website.
Once you have placed your order, we will acknowledge your order and confirm availability by e-mail as soon as possible. This is just to let you know that we have received your order and one of our agents will be processing it. It does not mean that we have legally accepted your order.
