What essentials accessories will I need for my new laminate floor?

Damp Proof Membrane
This is required for all installations.

Suitable Underlay
We have a wide range of underlay to suit all environments. Visit the essentials product pages on our site for more information or take a trip to your nearest store where our trained sales staff will be happy to advise you in-store on what best suits your needs.

Fitting Kit
The Floors-2-Go fitting kit has everything you need to lay your new laminate floor, including tapping block, pull bar and spacers.

Multifix Adhesive
Needed to fix your beading or skirting in place.

Matching Edging
Either beading or new skirting is needed to cover the expansion gaps around the edges of the room.

Matching Profiles
These are needed to cover the expansion gaps in-between adjoining rooms. We stock a range of different profiles, including ramp bars and edge bars.

Matching Radiator Pipe Roses
Radiator Pipe Roses cover any expansion gaps which have been left around radiator pipes.

Felt Protector Pads
These should be cut to size and attached to the bottom of all furniture in the room where you have laid your new fl oor in order to protect it.

Cleaning and Maintenance Products
We stock a range of specialist cleaning products to look after your new laminate flooring, and ensure that it stays as good as new.

The better the underlay, the longer your fl oor will last. An expansion of between 10mm - 12mm should be left around the edge of the room, and in-between adjoining rooms, in order to allow for natural expansion and contraction of the fl oor.
